A few recommendations for using and
caring for your Ballet Feet Stretcher:
•Warm up before you stretch (use the stretcher
barre as a foot roller in addition to other stretches)
•Use the Optional Insertion Glider to
help insert your foot (some people prefer to wear socks)
•Put your foot in the Ballet Feet
Stretch Band before you attach the second section.
Three Ways to Stretch:
•Put your heel on the inside of the Stretcher
barre to mimic a “leg on the barre” stretch with no chance for sickling and
straighten knee! (experiment with this stretch in a parallel and turned out
•Put heel directly on top of stretcher barre
(with or without grey cushion)
•Put heel on the outside of stretcher barre
and turn out leg from hip socket so outside of foot is touching the
•Experiment by stretching forward toward
toes when parallel or turned out or in straddle stretch.
•You can also hold the end of the Ballet
Feet Stretch and lift for different stretches.
•Gently pull the Velcro apart to adjust
the Resistance Band for a gentler or stronger foot stretch.
To care for your Ballet Feet Stretcher:
•Never allow your BFS to be near a heat
source, in a hot car or in direct sunlight.
•Do not allow sharp objects around your
BFS. Punctures from pins, fingernails, pet claws, etc will damage the usability
of your BFS.
